On May 2, 2022, Equinix Inc.® finalized the acquisition of four data centers from Empresa Nacional De Telecomunicaciones S.A. (Entel) and on August 1, 2022, Equinix, Inc.® finalized the acquisition of one data center from AMERICATEL PERÚ  S.A. (Entel). The acquisition expands Equinix's coverage in this strategic market, solidifying our position as a leading regional provider of digital infrastructure services. 

Over the coming months, we will continue to work with our colleagues in Chile and Peru to identify the changes needed to integrate these data centres onto Platform Equinix®. We will keep you informed throughout this process by email and via this resource centre, where you will find more details, FAQs and a series of "how-to" videos.

Over the coming months, most things will remain the same while we work through identifying the changes needed to integrate the four data centres onto Platform Equinix.
