Building Description Originally, the building was constructed in 1985 as a regional telephony exchange for the incumbent BTC. In 2009, 3DC, an independent data center provider, opened this carrier-neutral data center in Sofia, Bulgaria. In November 2013, TelecityGroup acquired 3DC. On January 15th 2016, Equinix acquired TelecityGroup and its carrier-neutral data center in Sofia, Bulgaria.
