On 18 April 2019, Equinix Inc.® acquired Switch Datacenter's AMS1 data center business in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The facility has been renamed Equinix AM11 International Business Exchange™ (IBX®).

Our integration team is assessing the Switch Datacenter systems and processes to align these with our global system, Equinix Customer One™ (ECO).

Over the next few months, we will be communicating with you via email to provide information about the changes you will see once the integration of the AMS1 Switch Datacenter systems are complete. Each time we send you an email we will provide you with a link to the relevant page in this resource center where you will find more detail about these changes.

Customers can expect the following topics to be covered:

  • Finance and operations changes
  • Customer care changes
  • Product name and product description changes
  • Security and Access changes

We will notify you as and when the relevant information becomes available. Please read this information and check regularly for updates. This information will help you understand the changes, explain how we will implement them and provide answers to your questions.
