EQUINIX IPC delivers IP connectivity over a redundant Ethernet platform to provide a fast, resilient and flexible service. By accessing multiple ISPs simultaneously, customers can establish a constant connection to the Internet for high performance access.

The service provides access to multiple Tier1 and Tier2 upstream providers in addition to regional Internet Exchanges to ensure low latency and least hop routing. ISP redundancy is delivered using the BGP protocol which provides automatic failover if an individual ISP’s services are temporarily unavailable.

SERVICES

EQUINIX IPC Installation — customers have the choice of either a single or multi-homed installation connecting at FastE or GigE speeds and a public Internet address space is provided as required. Equinix network engineers are available to consult with customers on their specific connectivity requirements.

EQUINIX IPC Monthly Recurring Fee — customers are charged in quantities of Mbit per second and billing is at the 95^th percentile on a committed bandwidth basis. This customer bandwidth is burstable, with defined fees for doing so.

EQUINIX Bandwidth Reporting — optional online bandwidth usage reports are available and provided to the customer on a 3^rd party monthly subscription basis.
